Moody National Title Company, a division of Moody National Companies, is searching for an Commercial Escrow Officer/Branch Manager to work in our Houston, Texas headquarters. The Escrow Officer supports Moody National Companies in achieving closing team goals and objectives. This role works closely with all involved parties to achieve harmonious closing transactions.

The Escrow Officer/Branch Manager will be responsible for expanding our operations and conducting closing processes for real estate transactions. Proficient in full closing process from receipting contracts, opening title, addressing title issues, answering Attorney Objection Letters, preparing pro forma policies and final title policies and obtaining underwriter signatures for HOI policies. The ideal applicant will have both strong Commercial Title and 1031 Exchange experience, preferably in Texas and California.

Duties Include:

• Preparing closing statements, funding, initiating wires, follow up on Releases after closing, sending out closed document /policy packages and inputting information into electronic file in Moody Title system.
• Obtaining underwriter signatures for HOI policies.
• Comfortable working with different underwriters and their examination & underwriting departments. Requesting over limits approval from designated underwriter.
• Processing underwriter premium split and mailing checks, preparing title policies and T-00 for each transaction.
• Closing all corporate transactions for Moody National affiliated companies.
• Marketing commercial business.
• Prepare and work with Comptroller/Accounting Department to complete State TDI Audit and 2 underwriter audits annually.
• Assisting with 1031 Exchange transactions.

Ideal candidates will have or be able to:

• Proficient in full closing process from receipting contracts, opening title, addressing title issues, answering Attorney objection letters, preparing pro forma policies and final title policies.
• Familiarity with RamQuest and Title Data Systems.
  Complete On-Site Manager Training course and maintain Escrow Officer license and training.
