Outdoor Adventures/Venture Out Resorts is seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our dynamic team. As a Collections Manager, you will play a vital role in directing, managing, and coordinating our collection efforts for delinquent accounts. Your primary responsibilities will include developing efficient business processes, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and overseeing a team of collectors and supervisors. Experience/Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and 3+ years of collection management experience are preferred.
- A team player with the proven ability to develop a professional staff as well as successful relationships with other members of a management team is required.
Job Responsibilities;
- The Collections Manager will be responsible for developing and managing a team of collectors and collection supervisors.
- Setting and evaluating performance goals for their team.
- The Collections Manager will also be developing strategies for the team and relying on the supervisors to implement.
- Developing and writing collection policy and procedure for the Company
- Hiring necessary collection staff and supervisors as the portfolio grows
- Managing and maintaining a professional collection staff
- Monitoring employee production and delinquency rates
- Performing call reviews – Score carding
- Monitoring collector’s calls to maintain compliance with state and federal laws
- Investigate and Resolve member disputes.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Coach, discipline, and terminate employees when necessary
- Monitor collector’s performance on a monthly basis
- Interacting with and training collection staff (new information and procedures as they come about and any training deemed necessary)
- Setting daily, weekly and monthly goals
- Fulfill daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements.
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Business Operations
