We have an exciting employment opportunity for candidates looking to work for a global leader in steel manufacturing. We are seeking a skilled setup operator to join our growing company at our Elk Grove Village location to work 2nd or 3rd shift.

2nd Shift Mon - Fri Hours: 3pm-11:30pm Wage: $20.50 - $27.50 +10% premium after hire-on
3rd Shift Sun - Thu Hours: 11pm-7:30pm Wage: $20.50 - $27.50 +15% premium after hire-on
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select, install, and adjust threading die, die cutters, chamfering tools, feed grips, pressure tripping mechanism, cams, gears, and pulleys
- Set feed rail and roller sorter to ensure quality parts
- Adjust speed control knobs to synchronize transfer and ejection of stock with machine action
- Maintain, oil, and clean machines regularly
- Drain and clean oil trays
- Dump scrap and sweep floors to maintain housekeeping standards
- Recognize and inspect quality issues and troubleshoot process or quality issues with engineers to correct and document
- Work in a fast-paced environment both as a team and individually
- Dependability and punctuality
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience
- Thread Roll or Cold Heading experience strongly preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience using gaging equipment such as calipers and micrometers
