As a leading designer and fabricator of commercial grade retail display cases as well as millwork/décor. Associates work directly with leading retailers like Sam's Club, Academy, Kohl's, and Wal-Mart to create shopping experiences seen every day. CNC Programmer is responsible for several duties at Jahabow, Program CNC mill, and CNC routers by use of SolidWorks, and Master Cam. Works with other members of the engineering staff to ensure that programs are completed in a timely manner. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works with and reports to Engineering manager.

Duties:

· Work with design teams to create and support shop with CNC programs

· Use numerous computer programs to create new products and improve existing products for customers

· Evaluates current products to find improvements

· Set up and adjust CNC programs

· Must be able to read and understand prints

Skills/Qualifications:

· Education Required/Preferred: Associate degree in drafting.

· Experience: 2-5 Years

· Preferred Qualifications: Experience using SolidWorks, and Master Cam, but not require

· A creative approach for generating new ideas

· An excellent grasp of engineering and design principles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
