Actalent is actively seeking a CNC Programmer for one of our clients in the Troutdale area!

Description:

The CNC Programmer will support the machine shop to make a products meeting the specifications of our internal and external customers. They create, maintain and revise new or existing machining programs and develop additional necessary applications. They're also responsible for resolving all issues related to machining and/or specific customer specification/requirements.

The CNC Programmer designs fixtures, tooling, and programs. They will receive orders from clients and read those designs to program CNC Lathes and CNC Mills to create products to required GD&T specifications.

This company produces products made only of graphite.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with Mastercam, or equivalent software, or a combination of machine programming and machining knowledge
• Degree in machining technology preferred, or the year for year equivalency of machining/programming experience.
• Proficiency in 3-D programming highly preferred
• Previous voluntary participation in leadership or communications coursework is highly regarded
