JOB SUMMARY: This position primarily supports the CNC cost centers using conventional and unique carpentry type skills. This position may also support other areas as needed. A person in this position must have the flexibility and skills to move between departments to minimize bottlenecks. The multi-skilled operator will accommodate last minute changes in production and hold accountability for quality aspects and initiatives. Set-ups and operate complicated equipment and perform complex tasks using precision measuring instruments. Work from blueprints and use advanced shop mathematics. Willing to be involved in Product Development which may include testing and developing manufacturing processes and techniques. Perform routine operator preventive and possibly minor mechanical maintenance on equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School or Trade School diploma. Requires the ability to use advanced shop mathematics and basic geometric calculations, good computer skills, ability to use precision measuring instruments, and the ability to read blueprints. Must be willing to change shifts to meet production needs. Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays if required and to move to other positions in order to meet production requirements. Must be able to meet all physical requirements in accordance with the Essential Function Job Analysis.

Pay: From $24.40 per hour
