The Family Connection LLC is an outpatient counseling agency that has the privilege of serving a variety of patients in our Rio Rancho, Los Lunas, and Santa Fe locations. The Family Connection is looking for a full-time, 35 hours/week, Clinical Support Specialist for our Rio Rancho location!
The Clinical Support Service Specialist will be comfortable with general office operations, including electronic correspondence, filing, typing reports, and distributing mail. Our Clinical Support Service Specialist is the first face of our organization and, therefore should have good people and communication skills in order to best work with our clients.

Compensation:$14 hourly
Responsibilities:- Update and verify patient information each time they come in for an appointment.
- Handle schedule inquiries for established patients.
- Provide assistance and information to patients when requested.
- Complete call logs for established patients regarding messages and requests, and as further requested.
- Enter payments, patient information, etc, into the EHR system.
- Collect and review all initial paperwork, ensuring complete documentation is received and completing the file audit sheet.
- Scan documents following the written procedure.
- Completing the Audit sheet for patient data.
- Greet Patients when they first come into the office.
- Check-in with patients while he/she is waiting for their counseling appointment using the EHR system.
- Keep the clinic and waiting area clean, organized, and safe.
- Retrieve answering machine messages, create a message log, and distribute them as appropriate in a timely manner.
- Return calls promptly and courteously.
- Make, cancel, and re-schedule appointments for established clients, ensuring that all appointments are noted appropriately in EHR. - Make, cancel and re-schedule appointments for new clients only as specifically requested, ensuring that all appointments are noted appropriately in OA.
- Obtain co-payments and all payments from clients (e.g. performs cashiering duties, print out receipts, etc.)
- Monitor and assure that clinic forms are replenished in a timely manner (e.g. patient intake forms, handouts, etc.)
- Maintain photocopy machine to ensure an adequate paper and ink supply.
- High School diploma, Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of Administrative/Clerical experience preferred
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills
