DESCRIPTION
The Clinical Site Manager will assist Light Counseling's Clinical Director and Business Director in supporting and developing our Glen Allen, VA team by working with administrative and clinical team members to ensure all providers are delivering exceptional outpatient counseling services with a distinctively Christian approach. The Clinical Site Manager is also responsible for implementing the corporate vision, team development, and oversight and is expected to lead weekly staff meetings and provide 1:1 supervision as needed. The Clinical Site Manager will proactively keep up to date with clinical mental health trends, treatments, human development principles, productivity metrics, and other tasks that ensure the team is fully engaged, supported, and meeting goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate weekly with the Clinical Director and Business Director to ensure organization and clinical goals are being met.
- Lead and facilitate a weekly staff meeting to staff cases, assist with staff engagement and ensure clinical staff is meeting organizational goals and objectives. Each meeting must be documented for audit purposes.
- Attend weekly meeting(s) with the Clinical Director
- Attend monthly Leadership Team meetings with the Clinical Director, and Business Director
- Remain up to date on all required training(s) that support clinical supervisor and licensure renewals.
- Assist the Leadership Team with completing the peer review process for staff by setting guidelines and
providing peer review feedback.
- Maintains own practice of 10-15 clients per week to clients of varied populations of children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples.
- Delivers case management services
- Follows all regulations and company policies in service provision and documentation
- Participates in educational programs, in-service meetings, clinician meetings, and workshops to enhance professional development, and team comradery, and maintain currency of methodology and techniques
- Takes initiative to link clients to other services
- Will work with community groups around unmet and special needs and may carry a special community assignment relevant to and in alignment with Light Counseling's mission
- Prepares reports and forms necessary to satisfy the agency’s needs for accountability (i.e. recording, statistics, etc.).
- May be assigned to instruct and direct graduate student interns and residents/supervisees
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Professional knowledge and skills as a Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, or Clinical Psychologist
- Believes in and exhibits the Mission and Vision of Light Counseling’s values.
- Knowledge of counseling program planning concepts, principles, and practices with a focus on building and maintaining a system of integrated care that supports patient needs.
- Knowledge of requirements for providing clinical program oversight.
- Knowledge of the cultural, social, and economic background of the diverse populations served and the impact of cultural values and beliefs on their health status.
- Ability to establish program goals and objectives and to assess programs toward their achievement.
- Ability to provide clinical advice, guidance, and support to professional staff in areas of specialty.
- Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication. Ability to provide written and oral presentations.
- Ability to work independently with a willingness to take initiative in addressing concerns and issues for desired outcomes.
- Ability to establish rapport and gain the confidence of the members of the patient care team, clients, and associates.

- Proficient with computer-based applications such as MS Office, Adobe, and electronic health record.
- Provides client counseling services to a varied population of children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Have a Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Have an active and in-good-standing LPC, LMFT, or LCSW license with the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Have five (5) or more years of related experience in public health or outpatient counseling.
- Have three (3) or more years of experience providing clinical supervision to staff.
- Have significant clinical experience treating a wide range of issues and populations (i.e. individual, couples/marriage, family, child populations, etc.).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Mood Disorders, Eating Disorders, Play Therapy, Couples counseling, Parent/Child Relational Issues
- Experience working with trauma-related disorders using advanced therapy modalities (e.g., EMDR, TF-CBT).
- CBT and/or DBT training and/or certification.
