Reporting to the Community-Based Services Clinical Director, the Clinical Manager will provide overall leadership, direction, and accountability for quality services and adherence to wraparound principles for the program. The Clinical Manager is responsible for service integration and quality of clinical and case management services delivered to all Project Permanence clients. The Project Permanence team works with the entire family to build coping, planning, and problem-solving skills for placement stability, and to reduce and manage challenging behaviors and truancy through a variety of ways.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for recruitment, retention strategies, hiring, supervision, training, evaluation of assigned Clinician and other team members as needed.
  • Ensure staff compliance with all internal and external reporting and documentation requirements.
  • Monitor and support staff documentation for quality, productivity, and timeliness.
  • Monitor program finances in relationship to established guidelines, procedures and policies.
  • Responsible for regularly scheduled weekly individual and group supervision with supervisees.
  • Develop systems and processes to maintain and monitor continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities for program, clinical, and case management functions
  • Coordinate and conduct external and internal UR for chart compliance, quality, and appropriateness of clinical and case management services.
  • Participate and directly observe program, clinical, and case management delivery of services through regular and frequent interface with program staff
  • Oversee the provision, quality, and on-going development of Family Team meetings.
  • Collaborate with outside providers, clinical staff and other Lincoln staff to insure seamless integration of Project Permanence services with other agency programs and services.
  • Requires driving to various locations across Alameda County to deliver services at assigned office(s), in the community or via home visits; this also includes transporting youth or families to community resources and appointments as needed (Clinical Manager must have a valid California driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and personal vehicle insurance coverage).


POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A positive, service-oriented leader with knowledge of provider systems and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse multidisciplinary setting. Demonstrated awareness of, strength based sensitivity to and competence in dealing with cultural and socioeconomic diversity of client population. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to resolve conflict. Knowledge of trauma informed and culturally responsive interventions with children and families. Committed to helping the organization with equity, diversity and inclusion work both through leading initiatives and engaging in reflective work. Can work independently but also asks for help when necessary.



EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • LCSW or MFT, licensed in the state of California for two or more years
  • 2 years of supervisory experience in flexible case management and clinical services
  • At least 3 years of wraparound experience preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in individual, group and family therapy methods
  • Experience with Medi-Cal documentation requirements
  • Must meet eligibility requirements to bill for Medi-Cal services
