Direct report: Music Coordinator
Indirectly Reports to: Academy Manager
Job Category: Part-time, Non-exempt, hourly
Vision: To create and foster world-class art and artists that inspire Columbus and beyond.
Mission: To entertain, engage and educate through dance.
Perform skilled work involving specialized musicianship in support of ballet classes. Classes would include ballet technique and pointe classes for all ages.
Responsibilities
- Advanced piano playing
- Sight reading and improvisational skills needed
- Thorough knowledge of piano repertoire
- Broad knowledge of musical styles
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with students, faculty and staff
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing
- Ability to represent BalletMet in a friendly, courteous and professional manner
- Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays at our downtown Columbus location and our Worthington location.
