CHILD WATCH ATTENDANT

Main area of responsibility: The Child Watch Attendant is responsible for the safety and well being of the children in the Child Watch area of the Landen facility. Your responsibility is to emphasize quality childcare standards through fun and educational activities and interaction with the YMCA participants.
Hours and Days: 10-15 hours weekly, primarily Monday - Friday evenings (5-8), some afternoons (1-5) and Saturdays (9-12).
Requirements:
Prior experience supervising children is a plus
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Flexible schedule with opportunities to substitute for fellow staff
Strong member service skills; outgoing personality with warmth and understanding to children and their parents
Ability to follow instructions and accept supervision
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a professional manner with others.
Reliable and dependable work attendance

Rate of Pay: $10.10/hour - All part-time staff working a minimum of 16 hours per quarter will receive a complimentary individual membership to the Countryside YMCA! Positions may require more than the minimum hours noted based upon business necessity.
