The Child Watch Associate I is responsible for leading and supervising participants in the Child Watch program to include Parents Night Out. This position will directly work with the children and parents.

The Child Watch Associate I is responsible for leading and supervising participants in the Child Watch program to include Parents Night Out. This position will directly work with the children and parents.

- Provides daily activities (or Parents Night Out) ensuring children have multiple choices of activities and that they are provided with activity focused on movement, arts, imaginary play, reading, etc.
- Provides exemplary customer service.
- Ensures participant safety – including check-in / check-out procedures, sick children, discipline issues, and activities.
- Maintains positive relations at all times with members, participants, and co-workers.
- Assists in all area of the Y operation as requested by management.
- Adhere to policies related to boundaries with consumers
- Attend/complete required abuse risk management training
- Adhere to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising consumers
- Follow mandated reporting requirements
- Adhere to job specific abuse risk management responsibilities
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Minimum 6 months of experience working with children and customer service.
- Must complete New Staff Orientation, Blood Bourne Pathogen and CPR/First Aid training within first 30-days of employment.
