Mommy's Time Out (MTO) is searching for caring, compassionate, and responsible Child Care Assistants. MTO is a child care center that offers convenient and flexible services at affordable rates. We provide a safe and reliable option for parents who may need to run errands, attend appointments, or have irregular schedules. Currently, we have Preschool, Afterschool, and Virtual Learning programs for children between the ages of 3 and 10 years old.

The hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 7 am until 7 pm.

The ideal candidate should have experience caring for children ages 3 to 10 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe, fun, and structured environment for children.
• Monitor and interact with children during indoor and outdoor activities.
• Assist children with homework assignments during Afterschool program.
• Prepare and serve meals and monitor children during meal and snack time.
• Ensure that all games and activities are properly stored throughout the day.
• Maintain all DHEC COVID-19 safety protocols including temperature screening and sanitizing work areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year experience in a licensed child care facility
• Loving attitude towards children, parents, and staff
• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR Certification
• Completed and Documented COVID-19 Vaccinations
• Ability to pass background check

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
All team members are required to be fully vaccinated and wear masks. Common surfaces are sanitized regularly. Frequent handwashing is encouraged and temperatures are taken daily.
