Description: The Spartan Management Group (SMG) is hiring a full-time CFO. SMG supports multiple business across the United States, primarily but not exclusively, in the HVAC and Plumbing Industry. The person filling the CFO role will:

• Oversee the company’s finances & financial strategy.
• Monitor financial statements, analyze reports, manage compliance, and develop policies.
• Be a leader with extensive analytical skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Train, manage and audit a group of office managers/ bookkeepers and data entry personnel.
• Conduct formal audits for our various locations.
• The primary objective is to drive long-term, sustainable growth.
• Report directly to the company CEO and President.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Related Field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and QuickBooks Online.
• Knowledge of general ledger, bank reconciliation, financial statement reporting and analysis.
• Familiarity and understanding of GAAP.
• Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proven leadership track record.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
