Description: The Spartan Management Group (SMG) is hiring a full-time CPA. SMG supports multiple business across the United States, primarily but not exclusively, in the HVAC and Plumbing Industry. The person filling this role will work directly with our CFO, supporting our multiple business locations throughout the United States. These businesses primarily provide plumbing and HVAC services to residential and commercial customers as well as other supporting businesses.
The person filling the CPA role will:

• Audit and inspect financial records.
• Prepare tax reports.
• Ensure tax compliance.
• Reduce tax liability.
• Manage tax audits.
• Other relatable duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Related Field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Current CPA.
• Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and QuickBooks Online.
• Knowledge of general ledger, bank reconciliation, financial statement reporting and analysis.
• Familiarity and understanding of GAAP.
• Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proven leadership track record.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
