Medical Assistant
A major medical facility with offices in Mount Kisco is seeking Medical Assistant. This is a TEMP to PERM position! $22 an hour! NO medical association certification needed!
Responsibilities include:
- Taking medical histories
- Explaining treatment procedures to patients
- Preparing patients for examinations
- Assisting the physician during examinations
- Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
- Performing basic laboratory tests
- Preparing and administering medications as directed by a physician or other licensed provider (e.g., a nurse practitioner or physician assistant)
- Phlebotomy
- Wound care and changing dressings
Administrative Duties
- Answering telephones
- Welcoming patients
- Updating and filing patient medical records
- Assisting with filling out insurance forms
- Scheduling appointments
