Summary:

LM Catering & Events is looking for a talented Catering Sales Manager to join our growing team. The primary focus of this position will be to coordinate events and ensure all catering services exceed guest expectations. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail and be able to perform calmly and effectively under pressure.

This position will also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients during all aspects of their event from contract signing to post event evaluation. Their duties include but are not limited to; developing and writing catering proposals, contracts and banquet event orders, creating and editing floor plans, giving venue tours, reviewing invoices, site visits, as well as other administrative projects as assigned. Communication skills, both verbal and written, are vital for this position as they will need to regularly work closely with upper management, and hourly employees both in the FOH and BOH.

Essential Functions:

Ability to follow up on inquires, show event spaces and book events

Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, operational standards, quality of product, and event management

Work closely with Chefs to plan and execute menus and tastings

Work with clients to put together a successful menu and timeline for their event

Attend weekly BEO meetings with sales, FOH and BOH teams

Learn full menu including allergens

Lead event execution

Skills & Knowledge:

1 year of sales experience in restaurants, hotels and/or catering venues

Event sales- specifically weddings

Caterease

Organization & attention to detail
