Whether it is greeting a customer by name, running the register, processing preorders and returns, or educating customers about local nonprofits for our Common Cents program- cashiers are the customer service all-stars of the Belfast Community Co-op. You might be a good fit for cashier if you enjoy working with the public, are excited about natural foods or groceries, and like variety in the tasks you perform. Cashiers positions require standing, lifting, frequent stair climbing, computer/touch screen use, and the ability to hear and respond to pages over the intercom. Weekend and occasional evening (until approx. 8:30pm) availability required.
