The Behavioral Wellness Center, located in the heart of North Central Philadelphia, is a long-standing behavioral health facility that serves a diverse, under-served population. We offer a comprehensive continuum of care in addictive services, from detoxification services, residential care, outpatient services, and acute and sub-acute psychiatric services.

We are currently seeking a FT Case Manager to provide case management and support to clients and staff of Outpatient Treatment programs, including but not limited to: Logistic care (transportation) for patients; coordinating the care of infectious disease clients; verifying insurance; assisting with obtaining benefits; encouraging patients to engage in outpatient programs; processing referrals and transfers to other agencies and arranging transfer process.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree (or greater) from an accredited college or university in a related field and 1 year experience in substance abuse/mental health. A working knowledge of community resources, psychiatric disabilities, substance abuse issues and current treatment approaches required. Current First Aid or CPR Certification and bilingual capabilities a plus.
