Description
Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, using carpenter’s hand tools and power tools, conforming to necessary building codes. A general skill and knowledge of duties in an industrial environment.
Typical Duties:
- Actively supports the Company’s commitment to safety and its Core Values.
- Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
- Must have rodbusting/rebar experience
- Able to work from drawings and blueprints
- Prepare layout, using rule, squares and calipers
- Build forms and install reinforcing rods and anchor bolts for concrete foundations
- Verify trueness of structures
- Identify safety hazards you and other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards
- Work well with supervision
- Properly perform work as directed
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience:
- Minimum of four (4) years experience. Knowledge of carpentry tools.
- Experience in building forms for pours and preps, pours and finishes concrete.
- Must be able to pass Craft proficiency testing at or above 70%.
- Complete Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training and Client / Site specific training.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active status within the approved drug testing program.
