Serenity Personal Care Service, LLC out of Monticello, AR is looking for a personal care assistant to support a physically challenged client in their everyday lives. If you’re a compassionate, positive person, then this is a job for you. We expect you to be polite and a good communicator. Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or disabled will make you a strong candidate.

LOCATION: MONTICELLO, AR

ESTIMATED WEEKLY HOURS: 16 - 19.5

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure client receives their medication on time

Help client dress, bathe, eat etc.

Cook meals according to the client’s restrictions

Help client with their shopping

Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment

Inform supervisors about uncommon events

Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Clock in and out of shifts via the Electronic Visit Verification(EVV) system

Work only at the client's home or elsewhere while doing allowed tasks only during an allowed time frame.

SKILLS:

Experience as personal care assistant

Committed to health & safety

Able to do housework and cooking

Reliability is a MUST!

Good communication and people skills

Positive and compassionate attitude

PREFERRED SKILLS: CNA Certification, PCA Certification, or 1 year proven experience doing personal care

*CNA is highly preferred for certain positions

Applicant must be able to pass a background check, child maltreatment check, adult maltreatment check, and be able to be paid through Medicaid.

Applicant will be required to obtain at least a PCA certification before they can begin work, as required by the State of Arkansas
