Caregiver/Personal Assistant
Job description
$2500 sign on bonus for full time employees, Paid out over 15 months! We offer tuition reimbursement, referral programs, apprenticeship programs, bonuses for picking up shifts, and flexible schedules!
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Meet with team at end of shift to inform them of resident care, changes, and other important resident information.
- Review and be familiar with resident plans of care.
- Encourage socialization and activity involvement with residents.
- Assist with admissions/discharges/transfers of residents as assigned.
- Assist with everyday tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene, undressing, etc.
- Assist with laundry on scheduled days.
- Transport residents to and from meals.
- Assist with toileting as care plan states.
- Identify and report changes in residents - mental, physical, emotional, etc.
- Report any physical harm to residents - bruises, bumps, injury of unknown source, to appropriate personal.
- Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Skills and Required Abilities:
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Ability to perform essential duties with little supervisor.
- Obey all safety rules.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Certificate or license - CBRF certifications, CNA licensure, Medication Administration not required (will train)
- Experience in assisted living setting beneficial
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.66 - $17.72 per hour
