Cannabis Laboratory Analyst

We at Fortis Et Certus are currently looking to bring on an Experienced, Cannabis based Lab Analyst who’s ready to innovate and grow with us!

We are looking for someone who can:

• Perform sample preparation and analysis of cannabis and cannabis products based on the

SOP and report them out to the customer.

• Perform Testing as needed and strive to put out the best results.
• Review QA/QC data ensuring it meets established criteria and populate the LIS accordingly.
• Work with the Lab Director to improve SOPs and other controlled documentation/process.
• Routinely calibrate and maintain instrumentation
• Work with a team of scientists and techs in a fast-moving environment to design and implement analytical strategies while giving clear direction to your subordinates.
• Prepare technical reports.
• Willing to brainstorm with your coworkers to see from another perspective on any issues.
• Recognize and report any issues, large or small
• Perform all tasks as directed by the Lab Director
• Provide feedback to Lab Director and fellow team members in support of our continuous improvement operating priority.

Additional Duties May Include:

• Cross-training on analytical methods
• Training scientific and non-scientific staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters (preferred) degree in relevant field and demonstrated technical proficiency with GC-MS, LC-MS, ICP-MS, HPLC, and PCR processes
• Experience in a regulated environment (ISO 17025, GLP, or GMP)
• Experience writing SOPs
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Prompt and Professional in the workplace

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
