Campus Police Officer (Part-Time)

Duties and Responsibilities: This position is part-time without benefits. Responsible for patrolling the campus, securing buildings, working investigations and accident scenes; making arrests for violators of state laws and preparing associated documentation; enforcing traffic and parking regulations, issuing citations, impounding vehicles and directing traffic; working special events as needed. This position will require working some nights and weekends and job-related travel. Performs other tasks as designated by the Chief of Campus Police. Part-time and reserve police officers may work up to 29 hours per week, but are required to work a minimum of one eight-hour shift per week.
Qualifications: High School diploma required, College degree preferred. Must be full-time CLEET certified or CLEET or Reserve CLEET certified...or certifiable within 6 months of employment.
