Buffalo Air Handling is working a 9 (days) - 80 (hours) schedule with every other Friday off.

This is not a remote position..

We are looking for a SolidWorks 3D CAD designer to join our team! If you have experience in the SolidWorks design field this position might be for you! Buffalo Air Handling is looking for a professional, accurate, and efficient designer to develop detailed custom air handling unit design drawings for production using Solid Works modeling. Candidates’ tasks will be to draft original 3D subassembly and main assembly drawings while applying our engineering standards. This is a full-time position with the potential for overtime.

Typical duties and responsibilities

• Use of SolidWorks and DriveWorks interactive software to generate and detail drawings and models
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers on projects
• Determine the proper size and materials for products
• Create new details to expand upon existing models and layouts

Education and experience

· High school diploma with classes design and computer graphics

· An associate degree or a certificate from a technical school

· Professional certifications are also acceptable

· Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

Required skills and qualifications

• Experience working in SolidWorks software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal ability
• Expertise in time management and the ability to meet deadlines
• Creativity and problem-solving capability
• Ability to understand technical drawings and plans
• A good background in math and science
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office essentials such as Excel and Word
• Attention to detail

Preferred qualifications

• Ability to self-manage
• 2+ years of 3D technical drawing experience

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
