Position: Buyer/Production Planner
Location/s: Geneva, OH
Duration: 6 months of contract
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 4:00 AM)

Job Description:
Responsible for planning and releasing production orders, monitoring material inventory, tracking the progress of production, and reviewing factors that affect the completion of production orders. Will also work with the team to resolve material-related issues due to supply constraints, inventory errors, or demand changes. Will collaborate with the material planning team, quality, operations, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan purchase requisitions to meet planned production
- Work with production planners and procurement buyers to solve material related problems
- Escalate shortages and potential shortages
- Assist with supplier forecasting process
Skills and Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Experience using Excel
We Value:
- Established skills and experience in material or production planning
- Experience with MRP/ERP Systems
- Ability to work independently and take direction from others
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Must pass a criminal background check (7-year felony + sex offender)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test (10 panels for recreational drugs and opiates)
