This role is 100% on-site in Everett, WA.
Description:
The Buyer is responsible for facilitating the timely order flow of materials, components, and supplies to support production. They issue purchase orders to approved suppliers, ensure just-in-time delivery of components, expedite deliveries to resolve shortages, optimize inventory levels, and maintain compliance with approved supplier lists and agreement terms and conditions. Buyers support and implement Supply Chain initiatives and best practices.
- Purchase materials, components, equipment, and services from a variety of sources, including maintaining associated MRP system requirements
- Obtain schedule and delivery confirmations from suppliers and be responsible for updating the system accordingly
- Validate and communicate schedules and forecasts to suppliers to achieve on-time deliveries
- Manage and update workbench and ERP data
- Manage part shortages and expedites
- Communicate and collaborate with Demand Analysts to ensure MRP accuracy
- Manage MRB and RTV
- Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data
- Analyze data, identify problematic areas, and suggest improvements
- Support the Purchasing team workload balance with a “can-do attitude” and help the team as required
- Understand and live by ethics and business conduct policies

Compensation is tied to the Colorado and Washington markets for jobs performed in Colorado and Washington. Other locations may be subject to variances based on location-related factors.
