Business Systems Architect for Buffalo Grove, IL to design, develop, architect & integrate computer systems and architecture to support business operations; gather, understand & translate business requirements into functional requirements and design specifications for new systems solutions while ensuring conformance to established system architecture standards; identify system data capabilities, architecture, components, functionalities & design constraints; develop new reporting solutions to integrate with system architecture; lead system check-up processes to optimize performance, functionality & stability; evaluate new technologies & system upgrades for company use; participate in planning, design and implementation of new systems projects; prepare system technical documentation; assist business end-users with troubleshooting technical issues.Requires Bachelor’s in C.S., I.S., M.I.S. or closely related field & 3 yrs experience developing Crystal Reports in SAP; designing custom reporting solutions & tools with SQL software; using Microsoft Excel & Crystal Reports to execute and verify calculations; developing & maintaining detailed process narratives and training materials; developing process flow diagrams & vector graphics applications using Microsoft Visio; working with ERP modules & bolt-on software, including Time and Labor, Benefits and/or Payroll Processing modules; and communicating with technical & non-technical audiences to gather business and reporting requirements.
