Business Office Manager

A wonderful opportunity with a new organization for a motivated individual, experienced in overseeing billing and collections in a multi-facility nursing home organization. Our $75M nursing home chain is seeking a candidate to complement our newly organized Central Business Office. The right candidate has extensive knowledge of third party billing, experience in setting up and managing billing software (Point Click Care is preferred), experienced in developing and managing policy and procedural compliance, enjoy being part of an organization but have an independent drive for success. We’re seeking an individual with sound management skills and a track record for success, with experience in successfully driving down DSO’s and maintaining low receivable balances. Requirements:

  • Only serious candidates with experience managing nursing home accounts receivable, billing system management, resident trust management and Medicaid eligibility need apply
  • 5 plus years experience billing third party programs and managing collections at a regional or home office level
  • 5 plus years experience managing and overseeing multiple nursing facilities business office matters
  • Extensive experience managing billing systems, setting up rooms and new payor types, managing security and troubleshooting; Point-Click-Care, ideally
  • Experience developing billing office and business office policies and compliance oversight for billing, debt collection, Medicare compliance, Medicare bad debt documentation, resident trust management, documentation requests, etc…
  • Must have a sound knowledge and experience to identify best practices
  • Strong track record for collections success, maintaining low DSO’s and bad debt
  • Strong background in managing Medicaid pending and eligibility matters
  • Experience in Massachusetts
  • Must enjoy working as part of an organization, demonstrate sound management capability and be able to train and motivate others
  • The position entails some on-site presence in facilities, and if the candidate resides outside commuting distance from CBO, may consider working from facilities or home
  • Good organization and communication skills a must
  • Sound working knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Bilingual (Spanish and Portuguese) speaking preferred
