Additional Duties

• Manages a team of Reporting Analysts, Data Analysts and Data Science experts.
• Create the strategic direction for access and delivery to critical information to business units which will drive business decisions.
• Research, recommend and develop reporting, data warehouse and data analytics solutions for the company.
• Research and recommend cloud-based technologies to perform development and experimentation of machine learning models.
• Perform presentations and demonstrations to users and departments.
• Work closely with users to understand and develop requirements.
• Create additional reports as necessary to demonstrate results of action plans.
• Develop and analyze meaningful daily, weekly, and monthly reports for senior management.
• Ensure reporting systems integrity by utilizing checks and balances.
• Prioritize and manage all performance variance analysis, identify causes, and develop action plans to correct.
• Develop efficient means of gathering data on an ongoing basis.
• Provide research and recommendations for additional reports, tracking tools, and/or metrics that will contribute to the management of productivity and performance.
• Analyze data to isolate specific challenges and opportunities.
• Partner with business units to create data models to support business decisions using advanced techniques such as predictive analytics and machine learning.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Knowledge of:

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Various software programs
• Base knowledge of programming languages such as R and Python

Ability to:

• Take independent action within established options and develops new procedures and approaches to problems when necessary
• Analyze assignments based on a wide knowledge of many factors where application of advanced or technical concepts are required
• Maintain visual attention and mental concentration for extended periods of time
• Perform duties and make decisions under frequent time pressures

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

• Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Master’s degree in Mathematics preferred.
• Requires experience with various data mining systems and advanced techniques such as machine learning, artificial intelligence and predictive analytics.
• 1 or more years of project management experience preferred.
• Ongoing desire to stay current with software market and the latest technologies.
