Job description

We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to assist the Project Director in all areas of business development.

Responsibilities:

• Developing curriculum for workshops and training
• Developing publications for the Center's use.
• Providing business assessment and counseling
• Managing the budget for the Women's Business Border Center
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure that media outreach is conducted to educate the public and outreach the Women's Business Border Center programs and services.
• Act as the intermediary lender liaison with the SBA lenders.
• Manage the process of submitting and tracking small business certifications.
• Ensure that all federal filing requirements are met.
• Assist with updates and development for CCR Registration for clients.

Qualifications:

• Computer Testing: Creativity, must be able to type 40 - 45 WPM.
• Previous experience in program development, volunteer management, and non-profit
• Should have knowledge of the community, the ability to build community consensus, and support
• Ability to supervise personnel in a manner conducive to efficient performance
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Bachelor's in business or other related fields
