Job description
CACI is seeking a Business and Organizational Leadership Coach at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS &IMF) to coach, mentor, train, and advise Shipyard leaders and managers. As a Leadership Coach you will partner with stakeholders to apply principles of organizational leadership, develop people, transform culture, improve performance, and achieve results through individual, group, team, and/or other coaching-based modalities.
More About the Role
Work is on the customer site, embedded in the Shipyard industrial environment, to ensure customer needs are being met.
Provide weekly individual, group, and/or team coaching for mid-to-upper-level Shipyard leaders.
Partner with senior stakeholders to assess needs, establish goals, and create/implement coaching strategies.
Participate in team meetings related to organizational strategy, team development, and professional development.
Conduct extensive individual and organizational assessments that include comprehensive summary reports.
Work with other Leadership Coaches to establish, track, and report metrics related to stakeholder goals and objectives.
Provide monthly and quarterly oral and written reports.
Shadow and observe leaders in meetings and daily work.
Support/interface with the customer via face to face, telephone, video conferencing, email, chat, and applicable online presence.
Work independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.
Physical Demands: Normal demands associated with a Shipyard office environment, including ability to work on a computer for long periods. Work may sometimes be in an active industrial environment that may require walking long distances carrying backpack filled with work materials (and transporting materials, supplies as needed), climbing ladders, and accessing confined spaces. Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Interim Secret security clearance and subsequent final DoD Secret security clearance
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in leadership development, facilitation, organizational development, change management, learning organizations, or process and performance improvement.
Training that aligns with International Coach Federation (ICF) core competencies. Commitment to earning Industry-recognized coaching certification (e.g., International Coaching Federation, International Association of Coaching) within 2 years after hire.
Ability to coach and to distinguish between coaching, mentoring, training, and consulting.
High emotional intelligence.
Willingness and ability to experiment and invent new approaches to provide the highest caliber service to our customer.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with customers at all levels of the organization in a professional, effective manner.
Strong customer service orientation. Respectfully engage customers in a manner that achieves successful outcomes.
Ability to organize work efficiently and manage time effectively.
Ability to perform successfully independently and as a team member in a demanding work environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
Active DoD Secret security clearance.
Previous military service or previous work experience at a Naval Shipyard.
Industry-recognized coaching certification (e.g., International Coaching Federation, International Association of Coaching).
Formal training or equivalent in coaching core competencies.
Certification and/or experience in some or all of the following:
-Personality and/or skills assessments, e.g., CliftonStrengths, MBTI, TKI, DISC.
-Process and/or performance improvement.
-Change management.
-Facilitation and/or training of leaders.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
