Arthur and Lucca is the premier tailor shop of Chicago, delivering the best fitting clothing through new custom clothing and alterations on existing garments. We work on all mens and womens clothing from jeans to bridal gowns and everything in between.

While in business for over a decade we have sewn over 150,000 hours of alterations and outfitted customers in several hundred custom clothing items to become the leading Chicago expert in fit.

Who You Are:

• You have mastered the ability to alter all alterations on all types of bridal gowns, dresses, and formal gowns.
• Additional consideration will be given if you are able to alter the following: suit jackets and pants, blazers, slacks, overcoats, button-up dress shirts, denim.
• You have experience training junior tailors and seamstresses to improve their alteration skills and speed.
• You work independently and quality check your work constantly.
• You can operate industrial sewing machines, sergers and pressing machines.
• You are a team player, with open communication and a positive attitude, and are not reluctant to take on a new project, learn a new technique, or share a piece of knowledge with someone else.
• You are dependable and reliable with your general schedule, speed, and quality of work.

• Flexible weekly schedules and very flexible shift start/stop/break times.
