Job description

Seeking an established Bookkeeper oversee a company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. They will perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.

Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
-Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process
-Verifying that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger by accounts clerks.
-Maintain the trial balance, by reconciling the GL for the accountants
-Perform account reconciliations to assert the accuracy of the transactions
-Monitor cash flow and produce financial reports to assist in strategic decisions
-Establishing different accounts

Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
-Defining bookkeeping policies and procedures
-Developing systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts
-Maintaining subsidiary accounts by posting, verifying and allocating transactions
-Reconciling entries to balance subsidiary accounts

-Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing accounting for information
-Monitoring for variances from the projected budget
-Assisting in financial activities such as running payroll and generating invoices

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
High School degree
QuickBooks Online experience is required
3+ years in recent accounting position
Good written & spoken communication skills, can follow directions
Willing to drive to companys work site in Immokalee.

Pay: $32.00 - $33.00 per hour
