Job overview:

Working in an CPA firm office on multiple accounts you will need to have excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, vendors and internal accounting team and other colleagues to ensure that all parties are fully aware of the status of the clients. With excellent Excel and Word skills, along with the ability to work on your own initiative, you will be a key player in ensuring that the accounting department of the business flows smoothly, ensuring that optimum levels of client service are always maintained. You will be required to maintain a clear and well documented electronic filing system and record keeping, as well as, sending client reports.

Key Responsibilities:
Monthly Duties to Assist the Accountants:

  • Accurate Use of Monthly Control Sheets
  • Interest Entries
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Receivables Reconciliation
  • Accounts Payable Entries
  • General Ledger Preparation for Review
  • Financial Statement Preparation for review
  • Assist in Budget Preparation
  • Attend Meetings as needed
  • Excel schedules as needed
  • Assist in on boarding new clients as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
