BEHAVIOR THERAPIST/BEHAVIOR INTERVENTIONIST

Immediate part-time and full-time positions available.

We help each child reach his or her full potential by teaching skills that include social, play, language, and self-help skills in the home, school, and clinic settings while helping reduce problem behaviors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide one-to-one, evidence-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) interventions.

· Implement behavior intervention plans under the mentorship of your BCBA supervisor.

· Collaborate and communicate with Inizio team members.

· Participate in Inizio’s paid trainings, including our paid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program.

· Maintain accurate records of child’s performance via electronic data collection and clinical notes.

· Maintain accurate records of your billable time.

REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum High School diploma or GED; AA (or equivalent units) preferred.

· Must have own reliable transportation, valid California driver’s license, and car insurance.

· Valid COVID 19 vaccination cards.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

· Ethical conduct and ability to utilize discretion when handling confidential information.

· Comfort with fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Under normal circumstances the employee will need to have the physical capacity to continuously use his/her hands for simple and firm grasping and fine motor manipulation. The employee may be required to do the following:

Physically able to bend, stand, stoop, or sit for long periods of time

Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Push / Pull up to 50 lbs.
