This position has a base salary range of $104,000 - $130,000 - $156,000. This range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience and time in the role.
Summary
This role will provide strategic direction for capacity planning, consistency, support, training and development, risk assessment, and operational excellence to the Community Branch network. This key leadership role will serve to drive best in class service to our internal Team so our front-line can focus on our membership while maintaining a high level of quality through internal controls as well as external regulatory and legal requirements to ensure an exceptional member experience. This role will be responsible for leading multiple Branches within the network, potentially overseeing multiple Branch Regions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead efforts alongside the Sr Retail Branch Executive to effectively build a strategic plan for Capacity planning both within the Branch network and with other BCU business partners as capacity needs arise.
- Assist Sr Retail Branch Executive with broad strategic initiatives.
- Assist Sr Retail Branch Executive with talent review, development, and retention.
- Reconfigure a Branch strategic scorecard focusing on specific metrics that drive growth, productivity, profitability, and capacity measures.
- Provide strategic direction for the Branch Training, Culture, and Development efforts.
- Manage and support the vendor relationships and serve as the key liaison for systems and service partners interfacing the branch network.
- Oversee all member facing digital technology utilized in the branches to ensure they support the initiatives and member usage. Work with internal technology partners to maintain current protocol and reliability of device management, especially within IT.
- Responsible for maintaining BCU branch relevant communication through the enterprise knowledge management system, including Quarterly Town Hall updates.
- Build and Manage control systems for all internal and external regulatory and audit processes and procedures – these include but are not limited to: Annual Branch Audits, Red Flag and CIP quality measures, annual policy reviews, and consistent training delivery of such material to all Branch team members.
- Collaboratively work with the regional team to ensure the consistency and quality of communication flow within the branch network. Provide consistent communications to the branch leadership team on results, pertinent business updates, and value-add content.
- Oversee the annual budgetary process with the finance team
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Manager of Branch Training to Create, Develop and Execute on a development focused educational program for the branch staff that supports training and growth opportunities to ensure consistency across all Service Center operations. Work with Talent Management and cross-functional partners to establish program tenants and content delivery.
- Monthly implement, review, and assess organizational systems and processes to ensure the profitable growth of branch operations. Conduct quarterly review meetings with Branch Regional Leadership team to assess individual branch performance and action plans.
- Act as the liaison for all Branch and cross functional process improvement efforts coordinating with the Regional Team
- Propose, implement, and monitor solutions and improvements that address member feedback through our NPS system.
- Oversee branch security program and ensure consistency in service center security standards, including current operations as well as future Center rollouts.
- Keep abreast of changes in the industry and changing trends to make changes in a way that maintains competitiveness and evaluate existing and potential Business Partners based on business need and strategic fit and make recommendations to the Sr Retail Branch Executive.
- Actively manage and monitor new branch build projects providing updates to key stakeholders including operational reviews and financial expense management.
- Partner with the Director of Community Relationship Management to create opportunities for membership growth.
- Provide direct supervision of two Sr Managers (currently each have 2 branches) and our Sr Manager in Branch Success. Additional branches to be added.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- College Degree required; Master's preferred.
- Minimum 10 years in a financial institution with a minimum of 7 years in a leadership role, preferably
- Operations and/or Financial Institution experience, Community development and relationships preferred.
- Proficiency in presentation skills, analyzing data to provide recommended business changes, and strategic thinking.
- Results oriented and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated success in creating, executing, and measuring operational programs and results.
- Demonstrated aptitude for online, mobile and desktop technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial budget.
- Ability to think proactively and initiate and execute projects.
- Must be energetic, self-motivated with outstanding initiative.
- Must be a person of high integrity who is always dependable and professional.
