We are in search of a highly organized and detail-oriented leader for our BATFE Firearms Compliance Clerk. We strongly prefer a candidate that is experienced with ATF firearms compliance regulations, functions and paperwork. A general knowledge of firearms and safe gun handling is required. ** This is a Part time position for Nights and Weekends **
A high degree of computer literacy is required. Duties include but are not limited to- identifying firearms, bound book data entry, online research, and paperwork audits, all in compliance with ATF regulations and requirements.
Requirements:Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to-
- Reviewing completed 4473s to ensure they are complete and correctly filled out.
- Checking 4473s against the bound book, to look for any discrepancies or corrections that need to be made.
- Learning and understanding the ATFE rules and regulations that are in place, and how they affect our operations.
- Completing monthly firearm audits on current stock and the 3-day wait room.
- Completing any and all necessary steps and paperwork to facilitate an NFA transfer for a customer, including filing the correct forms with the ATF.
Qualifications:
- Compliance: 1 year (Preferred)
- Strong knowledge of computer programs (MS Office) and POS systems
- ** Part time for Nights and Weekends only
