Summary:

If you like helping our residents get their day started with a good cup of coffee, then this role is for you! Crafting drinks, serving food in a café environment. Of course, making sure all food and safety regulations are met. Suggest and explain the differences between items and educates guests about brewing methods; follow cash handling and register policies; adhere to all food safety regulations and quality controls complying with Department of Health guidelines and community policies; follow inventory stocking and recording guidelines; engage in friendly conversations with guests and says thank you to every guest; provide personalized service and uses guest's name.

• Engage with customers through clear and pleasant communication
• Describing menu items to guests
• Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in the appropriate system
• Accept and ensure effective and efficient process of payments
• Meet operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and safety and security
• Report inventory needs to the Food and Bar Manager.
• Clean and Sanitize coffee equipment
• Maintain displays
• Order, receive and distribute supplies
• Inventory control
• Cleaning and sanitizing service and seating areas

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one (1) years in food service
• Riverside County food handler's card required
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Customer service driven
• Riverside County Food Handlers’ Card required

Availability:

Regular business hours and after regular business hours, as necessary.
