This position will be a hybrid schedule following an initial orientation period
OneLocal is seeking an AVP Commercial Lender to join their team in Norwood, MA. Reporting directly to the EVP/COO, the AVP Commercial Lender will manage a loan portfolio of customer accounts, including commercial real estate, investment and construction loans. The AVP Commercial Lender will also develop new business relationships for the Bank.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related concentration
- Minimum three years of commercial real estate lending experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to write reports and effectively present information
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data
- Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, and their applications
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Calm under pressure with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook

AVP Commercial Lender
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a loan portfolio, analyze applicant financial status, underwrite loan requests, and determine acceptability of loans
- Develop, build, and maintain business relationships to result in continued significant revenue opportunity while helping customer meet their financing needs and goals
- Compile and analyze data for construction loan requests
- Inspect construction projects for conformance with approved plans and specifications
- Recommend commercial loan policies and procedures
- Build and nurture productive outside referral sources and develop relationships with the representatives of those referral sources
- Attend weekly management meetings to discuss pricing, marketing, and policy strategies
- Prepare management reports summarizing the loan requests and overall loan portfolio
- Represent the Bank through active participation in community and industry organizations and events
- Perform related managerial and administrative functions as may be necessary to achieve corporate objectives and ensure the successful operation of the Bank
