We are looking for an experienced 12 Volt technician or someone who is mechanically inclined and willing to learn! We install ignition interlock devices (vehicle breathalyzers) for clients who have received an OWI/DUI. We also install remote starter devices. This is a customer service oriented job, so we need someone with excellent people and communication skills. This position involves working between two of our locations- 3 days a week in Maryland Heights (Mon, Wed, Fri) and 2 days a week in O'Fallon (Tues, Thurs). The schedule would be Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri from 9am - 5:30pm and Wednesdays from 10:30am - 7pm. A half hour unpaid lunch is taken daily.

Ignition interlock devices (IIDs) prevent the engine-start of a client's vehicle if alcohol is present in their breath sample. Our primary duties as an organization are to install, service, and monitor ignition interlocks for those that are convicted of an OWI/DUI. Installers have both technical and administrative duties:

Technical

-Install and remove ignition interlock devices from a variety of vehicles (similar to remote-start installation)

-Occasionally perform mobile installations, removals, and service work using your own vehicle- mileage compensation is provided. MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION

-Service existing clients on a monthly basis for quick check up appointments to ensure the device is functioning properly

Administrative

-Take payments for clients with overdue balances

-Instruct new clients on how to use the device and have them sign contracts

-Keep the building clean

-Track and order inventory for your shop

After 90 days of employment, you will receive 4 paid sick/personal days per year. After 1 year of employment, we offer 5 paid vacation days per year. After 3 years of employment, we offer 10 paid vacation days per year.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
