Job Description

We are looking for an Automotive Service Technician who can accurately diagnose and repair the best Ford/Lincoln has to offer! As a Service Technician, you will perform all warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work bumper to bumper. Customer satisfaction is a result of your personal work habits and ethics and is of the utmost importance as part of your job. You will ensure customer satisfaction by completing the job correctly, cleanly, honestly, and on time for every service visit. In addition, you will be responsible for setting goals for personal service improvement and for monitoring progress against customer satisfaction index numbers and production numbers as provided by the Service Manager.

The ideal candidate must have at least three years of vehicle-servicing experience, a valid driver's license and clean driving record, excellent customer service skills, and good computer skills. He or she must be able to drive both standard and automatic vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Performs all warranty and non-warranty inspections as well as all diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work
• Completes each and every job correctly, cleanly, honestly, and on time to ensure customer satisfaction
• Set goals for personal service improvement and monitors progress against customer satisfaction index numbers and production numbers as provided by the Service Manager
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
• Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Three years of bumper to bumper vehicle-servicing experience
• A "can-do" positive attitude!
• Valid CA driver's license with a clean DMV record
• Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
• Able to work safely and follow directions
• Impressive work ethic
• Good computer skills
• Ability to diagnose and repair all types of vehicle issues

Service Technician Schedule

Our service technicians are scheduled M-F 8-5 but overtime is usually required.
