Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with control system testing
• Assist with control system commissioning
• Update control system documents to reflect “As-built” and “As-installed” conditions
• Generate Operation and maintenance manuals.
• Write technical specifications for control systems.
• Assist in quoting control systems.
• Travel to Customers Nationwide as required for technical support and installations (30% travel but this would be a high estimate)
• All other duties as required.

Required Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proficient with MSOffice suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Proficient with AutoCAD
• Ability to understand communications architecture for Device Net and Industrial Ethernet
• Understand the function and operation of mechanical hardware used for Robotics and Material Handling Systems
• In-depth understanding of electrical characteristics that result in incompatible systems
• In-depth understanding of the National Electric Code (NEC)

Experience:

• A BS or Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering is desired but candidates with significant related experience and knowledge will be considered.
• 3 Years of Experience in the Baking or related industry is a plus.
• Industrial control systems
• Familiar with Allen-Bradley PLC, HMI software, and VFD hardware
