Sigvaris is currently looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our team in Peachtree City, GA. The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for creating, analyzing and applying effective market-driven strategies required to execute tactical plans towards growing our compression business. This position interacts with multiple product lines that have an impact to the quality of life of patients and consumers. Specific product lines include Dynaven, Well Being and Accessories currently.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in analysis and reviews the product portfolio in order to develop programs to invigorate products throughout their lifecycle.
- Helps create business cases and road maps utilizing tools, customer inputs and market research data to support new product development.
- Assists in the development of promotional plans designed to ensure a positive response from key customers and drives the implementation of these plans with local key stakeholders and sales management.
- Meets with clinicians, customers, and the field sales team to bring the 'voice of the customer' to product development and lifecycle enrichment.
- Identifies key competitors, market and consumer trends.
- Evaluates relevant market research, analysis tools and data from segmentation charts.
- Demonstrates expert technical knowledge of the product, material construction, manufacturing process and design process.
- Assists in business functions for product portfolio management - forecasting, cost of goods targets and market pricing, channel evaluation, program budgeting, etc.
- Coordinates and manages marketing activities such as tradeshows, marketing materials and product launch materials.
- Works with other Product Managers, Marketing and Cross-Functional team to achieve goals.
- Fosters positive morale among staff, by promotion of open communication with all departments, to help create and maintain an innovative and cooperative staff relationship and environment;
o Interacts with external and internal customers in a manner conducive to continued positive relationships.

- Demonstrates effective communication methods.
o Supervisor and/or appropriate management staff are kept informed of developments affecting their functions;

o Checks and responds to voice mail messages in a timely manner.
o Accurately and legibly presents written data to affected internal/external customer.
- Follows established company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SIGAVRIS policies, industry standards, ISO 13485 standards, 6S and Lean Manufcaturing, and Federal, State and local laws.
- Assists with the implementation of Lean/Kaizen initiatives or events in the department.
- Follows all work instructions, creates and maintains accurate records to meet all internal and external requirements to support the SIGVARIS Quality System and Quality Policy.
- Accurately performs any other duties and as assigned to ensure an efficient workflow.
EDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of one to three years of experience in a marketing, business management, sales, or program role.
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry preferred.
- Sales experience or exposure to working with a high performing salesforce.
SKILLS:
- Quantitative analysis skills
- Proficient in relevant software applications i.e. Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of business principles and practices preferred
- Knowledge of lymphedema, venous disease, wound care and/or the clinical environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
- Regularly required to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, bend, lift or climb.
- Finger dexterity and hand coordination required.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include: close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust or focus.
