The main purpose of the role is to support Ferrovial Airports US Asset Management Team to monitor objectives and KPIs for the airports at the Ferrovial portfolio and in the identification of new business opportunities of the airports sector in the US.

Functions:

• Support in the design of the strategic and financial integration process in new Assets
• Support the start-up of the processes and structures necessary for the correct reporting of new assets to Ferrovial Aeropuertos.
• Review and challenge in the implementation of the Business Plan, with particular regard to the cost and revenue optimization and risk management.
• Help to monitor the appropriate financial and strategic KPIs, previously set for each asset, in order to ensure that the objectives established are met in accordance with the investment criteria.
• Support in the design and implementation of the financial strategy of airports in the portfolio and support the Financial Department in their processes.
• Understand and operate to an intermediate level the operating and financial model of the asset
• Prepare reports on airport performance and analysis of established objectives.
• Support in the preparation for the Boards of Directors of the different assets.
• Contribute to the preparation of investment projects considering the commercial, technical and financial areas to adapt to the standards of Ferrovial Aeropuertos; and monitor them.
• Collaborate in the organization, planning and execution of the processes required in a due diligence (valuation of assets, procurement contracts and financial models...) to determine the suitability of the investment / divestment for the business unit’s business objectives, to ensure established profitability levels and to identify risks.
• Support the negotiation of contracts with administrations, construction companies and other entities.
• Establish and maintain contacts within and outside the market (clients, potential partners, advisers, public international bodies, financiers, etc.) that allow the detection of business opportunities.
• Identify potential partners analyzing their features.
• Collaborate in the preparation of offers to answer business opportunities.
• Participate in the financial closing of the business unit offers.
