All Starz Children's Academy in Apex, Cary and Morrisville are privately owned, Five Star Preschools. We are looking to hire a full-time Assistant Teacher to join our Senior program working with children ages four and five years old.

We are looking for someone who has:

* Previous experience teaching and working with children in any setting

* A great personality

* Good work ethic

* Excellent communication skills

* Four-year degree (in any field) or a Two-year degree in ECE

In this position you will be responsible for:

* Helping to create lesson plans.

* Working with students on hand writing, reading, using a Smart Board, leading circle time, story time, etc.

* Providing feedback to parents about their child's day.

* Helping during the child's extra curricular periods such as Jump Bunch, Soccer, Spanish, Cooking and more.

This position is Monday through Friday from 9:00AM - 6:00PM. All of our full-time teaching positions include medical/dental/vision benefits, paid holidays, paid training, paid time off and a matching 401K program. We have three campuses so there are certainly opportunities for advancement in the future.
