Job description
Responsibilities
- Follow technical documentation such as manufacturing procedures, bills of materials, part/assembly drawings and routings to assemble electro-mechanical & electrical assemblies, modules, and medical products.
- Perform basic soldering and de-soldering; use various hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers. Work under magnification equipment on small assemblies or integrated components when required.
- Inspect finished products for defects, and document results per established procedures. Perform equipment setup, and in-process inspections to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Discern quality of parts and materials used in production; maintain inventory of parts and tools used in the assembling process.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering and QA departments to assure proper assembly & inspection. Support design and fabrication of assembly & test fixtures, and development of written procedures.
- Maintain good attendance, flexibility on job assignment, adaptable to changing business needs and continually learn and apply new skills.
- Keep a clean, well-maintained, and safe workspace.
Education & Experience
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of electro-mechanical & electrical assembly experience required.
- Basic soldering & de-soldering experience preferred.
- Familiarity with the MS Office applications suite.
- Working knowledge of ESD practices and procedures preferred.
- Prior experience in medical device or other regulated industry preferred.
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
