Commercial Banking delivers extensive industry knowledge, local expertise and seamless global capabilities to clients-including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions, real estate investors and owners, and not-for-profit organizations-with annual revenue generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion. We offer a comprehensive set of financial products and services including credit, asset-based lending, real estate finance and treasury. We also provide clients with access to investment banking and asset management services.

Commercial Banking is looking for an energetic, creative Art Director who is excited about joining a fast-paced B2B marketing organization providing strategic creative direction and production supporting over 1000 events domestically and internationally. This role will be responsible for development and design of experiential event concepts, booth displays, email template design, imagery and on-site event materials for all Commercial Banking events. The ideal candidate will partner with event marketing managers, writers, designers and product specialists to create digital & print assets and event materials that communicate information effectively through the use of design.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Serve as creative advisor working closely with the Commercial Banking events team in the development of all creative materials supporting in-person and virtual event experiences
  • Participate in event team meetings to provide strategic direction and help track all the various events throughout the year
  • Manage Event projects for the creative team by leading process flow, delivery dates and creative direction
  • Take lead of design on event projects
  • Help direct other designers through concepting and completion as needed to create exciting campaigns and creative
  • Help manage workflow and time management of freelancers and junior designers
  • Lead projects with best-in-class design and design thinking
  • Help present creative concepts & solutions to stakeholders
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives elevate creative output
  • Collaborate with the digital team to create compelling user experiences
  • Use purposeful design to tell stories visually
  • Drive creative solutions from concept through completion on a variety of event related media:
    • Event displays and booths
    • Infographics
    • Social & Display ads
    • Sponsorship ads
    • Video
    • Email & Web
    • Animation, illustration
    • Print
    • Direct Mail
    • Presentations
  • Familiarity with use of and development of collateral systems and templates
  • Ability to uphold and follow style guidelines
  • Proofreading of own materials
  • Organize and maintain creative assets, including logos, image library, working files and more

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in design or fine arts preferred
  • Corporate or agency background preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with event design
  • Minimum 5 years Graphic Design experience
  • Strong portfolio that showcases design
  • Strategic creative thinker
  • Strong project management experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication/Creative presentation skills
  • Organized with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Manages his/her time effectively
  • Detail oriented and can review his/her own work carefully
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
