Area Coordinator

An area coordinator at Little Scholars, must have strong leadership skills, the ability to motivate others and multi-task. They will act as the liaison between the Teacher Coordinator and the Contact at the schools. This person oversees and coordinates multiple schools within one district and will monitor the schools with classes being held each day.

This position is a part time position that has a start and end date. Should the schools sign on for another successful round of classes, there is the opportunity to hold this position again.

Must be able to work all weeks from June 12th through the week of July 31st. Must be able to travel between Charlotte and Concord during the week. Hours are 8:30am - 4:30pm.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Effectively communicate with the Teaching Staff, School Staff, and members of the Little Scholars Team.

· Collaborate with the Teacher Coordinators.

· Knowledge about effective classroom management strategies.

· Problem-solving abilities to correct any challenges or inefficiencies (i.e., procedures).

· Delivering both positive and constructive feedback to teachers and when applicable.

· Sub for a Teacher when the situation arises.

Experience Requirements

This candidate will have experience:

· Leading a team of 10 individuals, preferably in a school setting

· Working with students at a variety of age levels.

Educational Requirements

· The candidate must have a minimum of a BA.

Pay: $850.00 per week
