REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & OVERVIEW: The Swimming Instructor leads swimming lessons. Knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to pool safety; strong swimming ability; Ability to accept direction and to develop and maintain respect and discipline from the general public and ability to develop a cooperative relationship with associates. For swim instructors, certification as a Water Safety Instructor (WSI) by American Red Cross or comparable standards preferred. This is a part-time position, up to 11 hours/week, Saturday and Sunday hours. Starting rate: $15.00/hour; position range: $15.00-$15.50/hour.
